The inspiration session of 4 March is organised by our X-Honours student Anna Haunschild. She invited Hanneke Thijssens from Extinction Rebellion to contribute to the session. Lively discussions ahead, so do bring your opinions!
We’re heading to extinction and what to do about it?
In the inspiration session we will shortly focus on what science tells us about climate change and the real world consequences already taking place on our planet: the human side of this story. We will tell about actions we can take to aid this situation and discuss the goals that Extinction Rebellion aims to achieve and its strategies employed. Most controversial is their focus on Civil Disobedience. We’re sure that there will be lots of opinions on this one. We want to hear all of them and invite students to a discussion.
