This Wednesday we will have an inspirational session with guestspeaker Simon Dijkstra. Simon will share his personal story about setting up his foundation ‘De Buurtkok’.
After years of working in the business world, Simon felt the need to follow his heart and mean something for society. In the vision of De Buurtkok, everyone has a right to healthy food. Unfortunately, we see healthy products becoming increasingly pricey, while unhealthy alternatives tend to be more affordable. De Buurtkok’s mission is to tackle this inequality and make healthy food accessible to everyone. That way, everyone can experience the power of healthy food!

Meet Simon in the X-lab and listen to his personal journey of following his heart by setting up De Buurtkok. There is time for conversation and discussion, so you can ask all your questions about his plans, priorities, struggle and motivation.
This inspirational session is open to all students from all locations: The onboarding and advanced from the locations Leeuwarden, Emmen, Meppel and Groningen will be there, and interested other students are invited as well. Let’s get inspired!
