Once a year, we organize a networking meeting for all of our students with mentors from Mentor Programme Friesland. On Wednesday 22 May we will be having this meeting that has proven to be very much appreciated by our students. All X-Honours students from all locations are expected for this session.
Mentor Programme Friesland offers a unique and free opportunity for students from hbo and mbo to meet professionals and perhaps get help from a mentor in things students need in their student’s lives, their working lives, their lives as a young adult, or even when wanting to become an entrepreneur, or starting up a career.
Creating opportunities by networking or getting a mentor
This Wednesday we will offer an engaging program in which students will have a unique opportunity to network, and to ask questions about networking. Also, you will learn about mentoring and what it can do for one personally. You will meet interesting people who can mean something to you: professionals from different fields who are not only available as mentors (NL of ENG), but can also help you getting a better grip on your X-Honours journey. In the past there were students that ended up with opportunies they couldn’t have dreamt of beforehand.
In Teams we will put the names of the mentors that will come over to the session, together with a short biography, so the students can prepare questions for them.
We will end the afternoon with some bites and drinks as a low-barrier networking opportunity.
