A pressure cooker/hackathon will take place on Wednesday 31 May as part of the “Kringloopsimulator” project, on the possibilities for farmers to come up with measures for their farms that are in line with the principles of circular agriculture/livestock farming. The session will take place with and at the X-Honours programme in the X-Lab in collaboration with the SEGA lab, the Master serious gaming and guided by students from HAS. Students from Emmen and Groningen can join on their location.
Design assignment
Agriculture faces major sustainability challenges. Tasks that come to dairy farmers from the government, the dairy chain or society. Various measures are known that dairy farmers could use. However, the effects of these measures are highly context-dependent (such as soil type or type of business operations) and sometimes really require a different way of thinking.
Design a concept that gives dairy farmers ‘more feeling’ about the relationship between their own actions and their contribution to sustainability challenges.
